Konami Cuts the Price of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
By Nathan Alvarez | 02/25/2014 9:50 A.M. ET

A lot of people were complaining about the cost of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes especially when the length of the title was revealed. Now it will cost players a little less. Konami has reduced the price of last-gen and current-gen by ten bucks.

From the official press release:

KONAMI has also announced that it will offer both physical and digital versions of METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, for an SRP of $29.99. Bringing pricing in-line with the "current generation" price, KONAMI aims to provide as many people as possible an opportunity to experience Kojima Productions' FOX Engine and the first instalment in the two-part METAL GEAR SOLID V experience. METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft will remain at the SRP of $29.99 for retail and via download for SRP $19.99.

It appears Konami has heard the fans loud and clear. What do you think of the price cut? Will you be picking up Ground Zeroes? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
